Night of the Living Dummy #4

In chapters 22-25, I was the Illustrator.  Finally these chapters are the chapters that are actually a bit more interesting that the others because of the climax.  The ending was predictable for me because these kinds of novels always have a twist to it at the end.  For my illustration I decided to sketch the scene where Kris and Lindy are burying the dummy. I am sure that this book would be more interesting and compelling for younger kids than older ones.

Night of the Living Dummy #3

In chapters 14-21, I was the Vocabulary Enricher.  Because this is a middle school level read there weren’t any difficult words that I didn't understand.  I decided to choose vocabulary words that I thought would be difficult for middle schoolers.  It was difficult selecting the required minimum of 10 words, but I did it.

Night of the Living Dummy #2

I was the Summarizer for the chapter 7-13 in the second group disscussion.  I thought that these chapters were going to be more interesting but it wasn't.  I was hoping that there was going to to be more action but these chapters were just like the last ones.  Since nothing super exciting took place in these chapters, I'm predicting that the rest of the chapters will be the same.

Night of the Living Dummy #1

In our first group meeting I was the Discussion Directer.  The first few chapters of the book started off slow but as soon as I finished chapter 6, that was when the real action started.  The information at the end of chapter 6 leaves you guessing about upcoming events in the next chapters.  Since this book is a middle school level read, these chapters were extremely easy to read.
